Woombye’s biggest Balcony Book Sale

All books will be priced to sell at just $1, $2 or $5 each so bring a carry bag with you as our book shoppers rarely leave with just one or two titles.

Woombye Library News with Cathy Cash

Our biggest Balcony Book Sale of the year will be held on the morning of Saturday 25 November starting at 8am at the Woombye School of Arts Hall on Blackall Street.

Tables will be loaded with a variety of books including biographies, history, sport, cooking, gardening, health, art and crafts to name a few.

There will be lots of popular fiction to tempt readers and this time we’ll have a special section for recent release adult fiction, and as always plenty of good quality children’s books for parents and young readers to browse.

All books will be priced to sell at just $1, $2 or $5 each so bring a carry bag with you as our book shoppers rarely leave with just one or two titles.  Our book sales help fund the ongoing operating costs of our volunteer run library such as insurance, phone, electricity and consumables.

We value the support of our hinterland community and we look forward to seeing many of our local friends and out of town visitors to Woombye on November 25!

Remember ...  for those who are finding the cost of travel beyond their reach these days – “Reading is a discount ticket to everywhere”.
