Sunshine Coast’s own Sugarbag Blonde rocks The Presynct on June 20
Sunshine Coast blues-rockers Sugarbag Blonde will headline The Presynct’s intimate venue and bar in Nambour on Thursday, June 20, with doors opening at 7pm. Tickets are $15 online or $25 at the door, and Lost Louie and Tahnee Rose will open the night with their own vibrant sets.
Hailing from the region’s scenic beaches, Sugarbag Blonde has quietly forged a reputation for their distinctive blend of original rock and finely crafted blues-rock songs. A festival favourite, the band has thrilled crowds at Caloundra Music Festival, Byron Bay Bluesfest, Sunshine Sounds Festival and more. They’ve also supported Australian music legends—sharing stages with Thirsty Merc, Russell Morris, Kevin Borich, and organ maestro Lachy Doley.
Distributed worldwide by MGM, Sugarbag Blonde remains committed to bringing their soulful, high-energy performances to local and international audiences alike. “We’re humbled by the support that’s carried us from Sunshine Coast beaches to stages across the country,” the band says. “Nambour holds a special place for us—we can’t wait to share this evening with old friends and new fans.”
With its cosy atmosphere, full bar service and a lineup that spans rock, blues and roots, The Presynct promises a memorable night for music lovers. Early ticket purchase is recommended.
