Easter fun and furry friends at Nambour Plaza these school holidays

These school holidays, Nambour Plaza will be buzzing with fun family activities to keep everyone happy.

“We have some really fabulous Easter craft activities that have been designed for the little ones, but if the grown ups want to stay and help, they will enjoy it too,” said Centre Manager, Michelle Lees.

“There are some beautiful little wooden Easter ornaments to decorate to take home. Wildlife Unleashed will be visiting the centre and children really love this activity because they get to hold the animals after the show.”

Wildlife Unleashed provides an immersive ‘up close’ experience with snakes, birds, baby crocodiles and pythons. 

“One of the really great things about Wildlife Unleashed is the focus on education and conservation,” Michelle said. 

“People of all ages really love their presentations.”

In the second week of the school holidays, there will be a baby animal petting zoo, complete with baby goats, lambs and chickens.

“This is always really popular as well because it brings nature closer to the kids. They are able to sit and feed the animals and learn more about them,” she said.

“All of our school holidays activities have been carefully chosen to be interactive, educational and fun.”
