In the wake of International Nurses’ Day and International Day of the Midwife, Nambour General Hospital nurses stand at the forefront of a heartfelt campaign recognising their invaluable contributions.

Sunshine Coast Health's recent call for the community to send messages of support to be shared at an awards ceremony was met with an outpouring of gratitude.

Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery Lisa Newport expressed her appreciation for the dedication and compassion shown by nurses and midwives.

As part of the annual awards ceremony, heartfelt messages from the community were highlighted, acknowledging the unwavering commitment of these healthcare professionals.

The messages serves as a poignant reminder of their efforts and the profound impact they have on patient care. This initiative underscores the importance of acknowledging and celebrating the remarkable work of nurses and midwives in our healthcare system.
