Free live music with a message of hope

Live at the Chapel (L@TC) returns to Nambour on Saturday, April 5, with an evening of live music and positive messages from local and touring Christian artists.

The event will take place at the Ignite Church Auditorium, 29 Short Street, Nambour, starting at 6pm. Entry is free and the evening is open to all ages.

L@TC is a monthly music series hosted by Ignite Christian Church and presented by Aussie Grown Radio. It features live performances from artists who volunteer their time and talent to share music that inspires and uplifts.

Headlining the April event are Steve and Ainsley Apirana, a husband-and-wife duo known for their harmonies, instrumental flair and heartfelt performances. Steve is an experienced guitarist and vocalist who has toured widely across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. Ainsley, who plays guitar, flute and whistle, writes songs that blend music with personal stories.

Support on the night will come from Matty Bateson, known to many as Mr Baritone. With a rich vocal range and soulful guitar work, Matty has performed in original bands, duos, and as a soloist since 2013. He also serves in full-time ministry, including worship leading, chaplaincy and guitar teaching, and is a qualified life coach.

In addition to music, the event encourages community engagement and provides an opportunity to support the artists. Donations on the night will go directly toward their music ministry.

• Drinks and light snacks will be available for purchase. Held on the first Saturday of each month, L@TC aims to create a welcoming environment for families and community members to enjoy inspiring music, connect with others, and share in a positive message of faith and hope.
