Dancers brave wet weather for a night on the ‘fantastic’ Belli Hall floor

It was wonderful to be back dancing on the Belli floor.

The most recent Cooloola Coast Dances Group dance at Belli Community Hall was well received by 40 patrons who enjoyed the night of live music, dancing and great company.

“Unfortunately, the wet weather deterred several couples from attending but we are hoping to see them at the June 15 dance,” said organiser, Julie Mcphail.

“The Belli floor was fantastic to dance on and it is so wonderful to be back dancing on it. Chris played his tunes and patrons appreciated his ditties throughout the night.”

The next dance night will be on the 15th June from 7pm till 11pm.

Ladies are asked to bring a plate of goodies to share as tea and coffee is provided.

“It would be wonderful to see some more ladies attend the dance as we have several men who are good dancers and need partners to dance with in the Old Time dance style,” Julie said.

“So come along and enjoy the good company, great floor, good music and great atmosphere. I think people have been surprised at how much fun it is.”

The Belli Community Hall is at 1170 Eumundi-Kennilworth Road, Belli (Exit 224) 13 ks from the highway.
