Woombye artist wins People’s Choice for touching drawing

Woombye artist Brianna Campbell has clinched the 2024 Seeing the Soul Art Prize People's Choice Award with her charcoal drawing capturing a child asleep with her faithful puppy, above. The heartfelt artwork resonated with visitors to the Seeing the Soul: Hoofbeats Sanctuary Art Prize and Exhibition at Cooroy Butter Factory Art Centre. Campbell's evocative piece earned her a $500 prize.
