LNP announces field, lighting, equipment upgrades for Warriors FC

The LNP will deliver a $540,000 grant to the Palmwoods Warriors Football Club to fund much-needed lighting, equipment and field upgrades, if the party is elected on October 26.

The upgrades would allow the club to provide the safe and compliant facilities needed to accommodate future demand.

LNP candidate for Nicklin Marty Hunt said the project formed part of the LNP’s Games On! program, to encourage more kids into sport.

“This upgrade to the club’s facilities and equipment will allow the Palmwoods Warriors Football Club to cater for their growing participation and also be compliant to host more games at the grounds,” Mr Hunt said.

“This is about giving local communities the resources they need to shine on the field.”

Mr Hunt said the LNP was focused on working harder for Queenslanders.

“The LNP will restore a government that works for you, with the Right Plan for Queensland’s Future,” Mr Hunt said.
