Blues bounce back to beat Moreton Bay

Hinterland Blues v Moreton Bay Lions.

Hinterland Blues  are fourth on the QFA Div 1 Seniors ladder after a 19 points Round 4 win against Moreton Bay Lions on Saturday (27 April).

Vice-captain Thomas Wischnat kicked four goals in his team’s 131-112 win. Rhys Magin kicked 5 and Liam Astley and Jet Wikaire 3.

It was a good turnaround for the Blues, who bounced back from a 140-58 loss to Springwood in Round 3.

In  Round 2 they beat Beenleigh 202-56 and in Round 1 were beaten by 108-85 by Mayne. 

This Saturday (May 4) is the local derby against Caloundra at Carter Park Caloundra. Kick off is 2pm. On May 18 they play Beenleigh at Beenleigh.

Crushers, sitting fourth,
host Dolphins this weekend

Nambour Crushers host the Kawana Dolphins in the SCGRL A Grade Men Round 5 match on Saturday May 4. 

The Crushers will be well-rested after a bye on the weekend and looking to build on their promising start to the season. 

In  Round 3 they drew with Stanley Rivers 22-22. In Round 2 they lost to Caboolture 12-20 and in Round 1 beat Maroochydore 18-16.
