Coffee, cake and combat? Challenge Accepted

Nambour’s action-packed indoor battlefield, Challenge Accepted, is enjoying their new premises after relocating to what was previously The Crafter’s Heart at 44 Price Street.

The move to the larger premises has allowed owners Peter and Lyn Grieger to add an in-house cafe to their venue.

“We have had such fantastic feedback about the cafe from our patrons,” Peter said. “It has a great, relaxed vibe (when the games aren’t on!). We have chosen to serve the Supremo coffee blend from Sunshine Coast Roastery because it is a smooth medium roast that keeps customers coming back for more. Interstate visitors have even called it the best coffee they’ve ever had, so we must be doing something right!”

Permanent barista, Catherine Grayson, has over 20 years of experience in the cafe industry. “Her expertise shines through in every cup, so be sure to stop by, say hi, and let her make your day with a killer coffee,” said Peter. “We also have a selection of cakes, slices and savoury goodies as well.”

At Challenge Accepted, you can enjoy gelball, gelsoft, Nerf, and laser games, plus target shooting for kids aged 3+.

“It is perfect for birthday parties, private events like team building or Christmas parties, and even just a fun day out with friends,” Peter said.

“Join our Friday night socials (bookings required), or bring homeschoolers on Thursday mornings. Our popular after-school program teaches kids teamwork, room-clearing techniques, radio operations, speed, and accuracy while staying active and making new friends.”

As Christmas approaches game sessions will be running upstairs over the Christmas holidays. “Our cafe will be open throughout the holidays, closing on December 23rd and reopening on January 6th,” he said.

“You will find our session times and booking on our website www.challengeaccepted.quest
